Polar Anti-Mould Acrylic Emulsion is a durable, water-based, low-odour matt mould resistant paint formulated to prevent mould, algae and fungal growth for up to 10 years. Designed for demanding and high-humidity environments, our heavy-duty acrylic formula provides a tough and durable coating with a fully washable and scrubbable finish. It is suitable for interior walls, ceilings and trim, making it a practical choice for areas where mould and moisture are a concern.

Our anti mould wall paint also provides wear and stain resistance, allowing suitable painted surfaces to be wiped and scrubbed without compromising the coating. The matt white finish provides a clean, practical appearance while the acrylic formulation helps protect surfaces over time.

Before application, treat existing mould with a suitable treatment and ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contamination. Unsound or poorly adhered existing coatings should be sanded to remove loose material, while smooth or glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded. Stir thoroughly before use and apply by brush or roller in dry conditions at a minimum temperature of 10°C. Two coats are recommended for optimal and lasting results.

The anti mould ceiling paint dries in 1-2 hours at 20°C, although drying will take longer in colder conditions, and coverage is approximately 12m² per litre depending on application method, substrate and temperature.
