Brief Overview

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for coordinating the storage, stock control, goods in & management of our packing team.

Managing the day to day running of the warehouse. Monitoring the quality, quantity and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods. Responsible for the line management of the staff & ensuring that all orders go out on time.

Brief Overview

Due to us expanding our into new product lines and shortly selling into the US & Australia - we are looking for a highly driven and skilled individual to lead from the front and source new opportunities in these market places.

Key Objectives

  • Ownership of the business units P&L, including marketing spend, carriage and gross profit from stock sales.
  • Understand your customer; what they want and how they want it. Hence, set the category product range, mix, and range in conjunction with the overall business unit strategy
  • Assisting with run rate reordering, forecasting with vendors
  • Development of current product ranges
  • Analysing the market and competitors to spot gaps
  • Increasing and maximising on product margins
  • Introducing new suppliers and or managing existing suppliers and building relationships.
  • Negotiating prices / reducing costs

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • The ability to present to senior members of staff & suppliers
  • Is target and data-driven with a working knowledge of excel, a keen eye for detail and ability to spot trends
  • Ideally has worked in a similar position with omnichannel experience.
  • Is highly adept at building market-leading product ranges within the DIY sector
  • Is highly skilled at working cross-functionally within an organisation to bring products to market
  • Has a genuine interest in customer behaviour
  • Has the natural ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Is able to take responsibility for any given task, ensuring it always runs smoothly and efficiently with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written with strong attention to detail and highly organised
  • A natural ability to build rapport with suppliers, supplemented by a passion for negotiation
  • Highly motivated and passionate at driving the company forward, to support the company’s continuous growth
